candy, man
you all are nuts, if you don't think this is as good a vocal as you're gonna hear from the candyman
especially love the great reverb, sometimes you just don't get that from a soundboard the way it sounds in the room, i always thought the room reverb was what gave it all the nice acid sound
far out

My uncle & me
Good pickin' by Jerry on "Me & My Uncle" indeed. Winterland must've been on another plain of existence for several years. Wish I could find my wayback machine...

Good sound, decent performance
The sound on this is very good for the era, but there are more inspired performances of these tunes out there. Everything is very tasty, but nothing really grabs the attention. Good overall, but mediocre for 1970. If you only have time for one tune, listen to "Me & My Uncle". [we can't find the great performances if we rate everything as five stars]

Is this really 12/23 or is it 12/17??
Controversy swirls around this setlist. Here's the setlist for this date from Bear's cassettes:
1. Me and Bobby McGee
2. Dire Wolf
3. Good Lovin'
4. Drums
5. Good Lovin'
6. Casey Jones
7. Uncle John's Band
Dick Latavla has been quoted "This is how it exists on Bear's cassettes, I can't be responsible for how Deadbase has the songs listed."
This setlist also circulates in SBD format but does not appear in the Archive.

May I Please Have The Whole Show?
I had this on vinyl many years ago and it was played until it could be played no more. I would be "grateful" if the whole show was available. The Uncle John's Band is a classic version.
What is here is very good. The sound quality is extremely good. The vocals are excellent! Lesh is a driving force on all songs. Garcia is a little low in the mix on Hard to Handle, but not on the other tunes.
Given the incomplete nature of the recording, I need to give it 4 stars. What is here is 5 star material.
Does anyone know where to get the rest of the songs?
